I relate. When I started this work in September 2021, I decided if I can't have happiness, I can at least have meaning. I have probably 6000 hours into this effort, and countless research links in hundreds of folders. As an unknown writer, I realized the importance of backing every word with original sources. After all of this, I have a whopping 35 paying subscribers. It's not about the money, but indicative of the lack of urgency and denial. Perhaps I should envy those who don't see the storm, but I don't. My neighbors next door, lovely people, have two small children, one an infant. What could they be thinking? The pain and fear they will feel when reality calls them will be profound. At least those of us who understand the issues can be prepared mentally. I do wonder when this work will lose meaning, I know I am spitting into the fan. Maybe all of this is my form of denial. At least through our work, however, we have community together.

Hearing from people like you is what keeps me going. I don't talk about this stuff much face to face. Having an online community helps me know I'm not losing it.

“Having an online community?” Geoffrey Deihl shows up as he does responding to others in this so called community, but he is the only one behaving like a community would. For real and not just that there are others delivering comparable material. I’ve been talking to Geoffrey about a community for real, where members talk to one another. Then we’d look at how to tune the rest of humanity into the reality of our situation, and hopefully come up with an ask for humanity where so many are looking for leadership to tell them what to do. I’ve been trying to get an auspice with some clout to host a Zoom that I see Geoffrey being the online host for in my devotion to looking for what we the people can do to become a force.

The happiest people I know live in various states of denial and sheer or wilful ignorance. They are unilaterally unconcerned about the plights of the unfortunate, and of course collapse. They are freeriding offa the rest of mankind, present and future.

Apart from them, no - people are physically comfortable but extremely unhappy. Life ain’t working out in a very general sense and almost everyone feels it. Disillusionment and despair abounds.

That's a poignant observation. People are physically comfortable but extremely unhappy. I'd have to agree with that.

This reminds me of an Ed Abby passage to enjoy life “One final paragraph of advice: do not burn yourselves out. Be as I am - a reluctant enthusiast....a part-time crusader, a half-hearted fanatic. Save the other half of yourselves and your lives for pleasure and adventure. It is not enough to fight for the land; it is even more important to enjoy it. While you can. While it’s still here. So get out there and hunt and fish and mess around with your friends, ramble out yonder and explore the forests, climb the mountains, bag the peaks, run the rivers, breathe deep of that yet sweet and lucid air, sit quietly for a while and contemplate the precious stillness, the lovely, mysterious, and awesome space. Enjoy yourselves, keep your brain in your head and your head firmly attached to the body, the body active and alive, and I promise you this much; I promise you this one sweet victory over our enemies, over those desk-bound men and women with their hearts in a safe deposit box, and their eyes hypnotized by desk calculators. I promise you this; You will outlive the bastards.”

Hugs pats and treats to you and your furries from Henry, Ford and me. Henry and Ford are my two kitties who have a larger vocabulary and better insight and intelligence than the pretend humans here. No public education.

So sorry to say this but you're not keeping up with Trump on the "word vomit" writing. It takes a lot of work and effort. DOGE type efficiency. Trump has reached the pressure heave level with his word salad verbiage. A doctoral degree for certain.

I've found the smile needs to be emphasized with the BIRD sometimes called the FINGER. Sometimes 2 birds like a flock of pigeons taking flight. Animated with the ole up and down motion. Works miracles every time.

Not sure how you managed 20 years of financial research. Sincere condolences.

As far as research, grammar and the rest, why bother. It doesn't slow up Trump or the government he has chosen. Whatever remains when he's done will be dragging their knuckles on the ground and uttering screams, growls and grunts.
