Thanks for the great site and writing the truth.

Keep in mind that you won't get many subscribers but don't let it bother you. We're well beyond the point of doing anything and I guess it might be fun to argue about how we got here but other than some self satisfaction derived from "I TOLD YOU SO!" not much point. People have no idea what they are in for. Wait till the toilet paper and bottled H2O run out. Shipping water processed by reverse osmosis half way around the world is one of my favorite bits of insanity. It's gotten even better now we find out we're all pissing microplastic for pure water!

I was a little disappointed in the dictatorship article. Only because we're already there and it's a lot worse than anything in history. Stalin is going to look like a charitable loving grandpa in the next year.

The controllers whoever they are are not stupid. They have a plan. What do you think it is? What would mitigate or stop climate change? Or are my premises wrong?

Thanks for writing the truth.

I fully agree with you about internalising the existential dread, and it can be even harder to break into the action space when the only real-world impact in your location is an early season break in the snow, a bit of heat making the day mildly uncomfortable, or smoke in the air from a distant wildfire. But, please don't wait to act. The event that slams your community might happen tomorrow, next month, next year, or next decade. Climate scientists are in uncharted territory now, and weather is becoming less predictable. Don't only lean into your likeminded online community. Channel your fear and dread into taking steps to build your real-world survival community now. You may need them sooner than you link.
