Thank you for this. The Arctic and Greenland ice sheets are tipped. There is no doubt, having been warming at 3 times the rate of the rest of the planet since 1979. The CO2 and methane set to be released is far greater than what is already in the atmosphere, causing havoc. 65 percent of Russia, 50 percent of Canada and 80 percent of Alaska are built in permafrost. The scientific data showing the devastating impacts of significant climate change has been available for decades. Our so called “leaders” give not one shit about preserving our amazing planet for posterity. Oh no…money talks in every situation.

If you objectively examine current efforts to minimize climate change, they pale in comparison to the outrageous actions ongoing to further exploit fossil fuels. I’m ashamed of the human race.
