Is this the first time our "representatives" have actually told us what they are going to do before hand? It's a shame that we don't get to vote on it. They know what's best for us. It gives us the opportunity to apply the KY jelly prior to the ramming we are going to get. Progress is being made.

It's amazing that with the Internet our government is still living in the 1700's with communication. Actually worse with the spam folder and delete options. Our elected officials are so overwhelmed by our opinions they have to ignore them.

There is absolutely no reason that citizens could not vote for every proposed bill introduced by government, other than it would bring about a true democracy rather than the illusion of one. Far to radical of an idea. I'd love to hear the excuses for why it isn't possible. There are none.

It's one way communication with our government. Just the way they like it. When Obama was in office the White House webpage guaranteed all inquiries would be answered. I'm still waiting with bated breath for the reply. Maybe I'm being overly optimistic.

This is all sounds great tbh. As a European who is witnessing the negative consequences of the policies introduced by transnational organisations nobody voted for, i welcome the breaking up of the EU and the return of nationalist governments.
